What happens when you’re stressed?

Stress is what you feel when you have to handle more than you feel your ready are able to handle.  When your stressed, your body responds as thought you’re in danger - flight or fight response.   Some stress is normal and even usual.

What causes stress?

Long term stress is the the most serious and dangerous stress.  It’s caused by many irritating hassles sometimes the hassle is small but over a period of time and are ongoing.  This chronic stress can lead to:

  • Emotional problems
  • Relationship problems
  • Unhappy work or job related stress
  • Conflict with others  and general sadness
  • Anxiety and depression if left unchecked
